Why
Finding Joy in the Journey
DratherB is about finding joy in the journey. Dreaming about the future, learning new things, growing into a better person, and loving those around you.
Have you ever thought that there’s not enough time — minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years — in this life to learn and do everything? I know I have, and that’s why embracing your DratherB is important.
This blog is about sharing, so WELCOME! I hope you’ll comment and share your drather B.
Hello, I'm
Irene W. Hunt
I’m the ninth of ten children.
As a child I learned that there’s no such thing as can’t. Nothing is impossible with enough duct tape, safety pins, and cream of mushroom soup.
Creativity feeds the soul and helps you find answers to the impossible.
M.E. (Myalgic Encephelomyelitis) does not define me. It makes me better at loving and appreciating people and time spent together.
I believe in being REAL — what you see is what you get.
Marrying my best friend was the smartest move I ever made. Who else would I want to go through all life’s crap with? Anyone can do the easy. Who will do the hard? And it’s been hard.
My husband and five children are my life. Consequently, their families are my life.
A close family is built by being TOGETHER — for the good, the bad, the boring, as well as the fun. We are each other’s cheering section.
Family is anyone who wants (or needs) to join our craziness. We’re at 28 and counting.
Animals teach lessons others can’t.
You can’t write well if you can’t speak well. If you can’t speak well, you probably can’t read well. Reading well is an essential life skill. (Yes, I’ll probably correct you if I love you enough.)
I DratherB helping myself and others find joy in the journey.
